The EMotive Scarab is a fully built and driveable prototype of the world’s first zero-emission all-terrain six-wheel commercial electric vehicle. This project was to utilise the knowledge within CFCM to investigate novel applications for the Scarab.
River Exe Group is an SME based in Devon in the maritime leisure sector who is looking to reduce their carbon footprint and reliance on fossil fuels.
CFCM was able to provide business support to River Exe Group through an ERDF funded project with the Marine Business Technology Centre (MBTC).
The UK’s only fully seagoing research ship, the Prince Madog, is set to reduce its emissions by up to 60% thanks to a pioneering £5.5 million hydrogen power initiative that could help re-shape the future of shipping.
